Introducing Michelin-starred cuisine at Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival

Many restaurants from Michelin’s prestigious selection will be featured at the 2nd Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival, which will take place from November 3 to 5 on the walking area of Tran Nhan Tong Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.

This event offers tourists a chance to explore the traditional cuisine, street food, snacks, and signature dishes available in the capital, ranging from local street vendors to high-end restaurants.

The Hanoi Tourism Department expects that the activities and attractive displays at the event will stimulate tourism and enhance the image of Hanoi as an appealing and secure tourist destination. One of the highlights of this year’s Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival is the Food Court, where visitors can delve into Hanoi’s rich and distinctive culinary scene, including the offerings from Michelin-starred restaurants.

Moreover, artisans, craft villages, souvenir shops, and tour operators will also have the opportunity to showcase and promote their products while seeking potential partnerships.

The festival’s 70-80 booths will be organized into different themes, such as elite and high-quality gift products from Hanoi’s craft villages, sophisticated and unique gift products from renowned brands, as well as tourism service companies, travel agencies, hotels, and airlines.

In addition, the festival will also provide an area for visitors to experience the craftsmanship behind various handicrafts, such as bamboo dragonflies, artificial flowers, and gifts made from recycled materials.

Furthermore, there will be an exhibition titled “Tourists’ Smiles” and a section dedicated to showcasing award-winning photos from the Hanoi Travel Photo Contest in 2022.

The festival will also include activities in response to the “24h – Hanoi Come to Love” campaign, including a bicycle parade to distribute festival gifts to tourists on the streets, flash mob dance performances, and more.

To promote Hanoi’s traditional handicraft villages, festival visitors will have the opportunity to take selfies in themed landscape areas representing Phu Vinh Bamboo and Rattan Village, Chang Son Paper Fan Village, Van Phuc Silk Village, Thach Xa Bamboo Dragonfly Village, and Bat Trang Ceramics Village.

With the arrival of autumn, the most charming season in Hanoi, both the Hanoi Tourism Ao Dai Festival (October 27-29) and the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival (November 3-5) promise to offer an unforgettable experience for visitors to Hanoi.
