UNESCO Aiding Hanoi in Preservation of Cultural Heritage

As Hanoi was awarded the title of City for Peace and became a member of UNESCO’s Creative Cities Network, Matoko said that Hanoi is a typical success of Vietnam in UNESCO projects, affirming the effectiveness of the UNESCO Hanoi Office. Vice Chairwoman Vu Thu Ha stated that one of Hanoi’s priorities is culture, which is built upon the promotion of the thousand-year tradition of civilization and heroism.
