Exploring Ket Mountain – A Magnificent Cloud-Spotting Getaway in Vietnam

Ket Mountain in Tinh Bien district, located in the southern province of An Giang , was once an abandoned area with narrow paths made by locals. In recent years, Ket Mountain has become a popular destination for adventurous tourists. It is named after the large rock on its summit that resembles the head of a parrot. The mountain gets its name from a protruding rock that looks like the beak of a parrot, located about 100m above ground. Belgian MPs Push for Draft Resolution to Back Vietnamese Victims of Agent Orange

Photo: VNA The Belgian Chamber of Representatives held a hearing on June 20 to discuss a draft resolution in support of Vietnamese Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin, according to a report by VNA. The hearing was led by Els Van Hoof, the Head of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Belgian Parliament, and was well-attended by numerous MPs. At the session, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Van Thao provided an overview of the policies, action programs, and plans for supporting war victims in Vietnam. He also highlighted the close collaboration between Vietnam and the US in resolving the consequences of war. Tourists Invited to Experience the First Fruit Festival in Ninh Thuan Vietnam

The two-day fruit fest will be held along a section of Anh Dung Street in Tay Son Town by the Ninh Son District administration in collaboration with Charm Group. The fruit fest is part of a series of unique and attractive sport, cultural, and tourism activities in Ninh Thuan Province. These activities aim to respond to UNESCO’s recognition of the pottery art of Vietnam’s Cham ethnic group as intangible cultural heritage in need of urgent protection. Visitors can expect to be delighted with a variety of local fruits during the fest. In addition to the fruit fest, there will be a ceremony to receive the UNESCO certificate and the Ninh Thuan Grape – Wine Festival 2023. This event will take place between June 13 and 18. Prior to these events, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper, in collaboration with the Ninh Son District People’s Committee, will organize a seminar themed “Ninh Son – Land for Growth” on Sunday.
