Phuong Nhi places in Top 15 at Miss International 2023

A total of 70 contestants participated in performances showcasing their national costume and evening gowns during the final night, with the organisers announcing the Top 15, Top 7, and then the top prizes. The Vietnamese beauty was named in the Top 15 along alongside contestants from Thailand, Panama, Mexico, Peru, Greece, the Ivory Coast, Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, Colombia, Hong Kong (China), Venezuela, and Malaysia. Phuong Nhi stands at 1.70 metres tall and measures 80-57-88. Hailing from the central province of Thanh Hoa, the 21-year-old beauty first rose to prominence by winning the second runner-up title at Miss World Vietnam 2022, thereby meeting the criteria to progress to compete in the 2023 Miss International pageant. Da Nang Youth Donate to Help Those in Need in Laos

Having recently arrived in the Salavane province of Laos, a group of 36 volunteers from the International Volunteer Union of Da Nang Youth Union has commenced their activities in support of the local population. This initiative is part of the 2023 Summer Volunteer Campaign organized by the Da Nang Youth Union in Laos, which took place from July 15th to July 21st. The primary focus of the campaign was providing free medical examinations and distributing medicine to the community. The volunteer group, led by Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youth Union Le Cong Hung, consisted of 36 volunteers, including officials, union members, youth, and doctors from various organizations. Fabric scraps given new life by disabled artists

Nguyen Thuy Linh meticulously selects silk fabric scraps in complementary colors to complete her landscape collage. If painters paint with brushes, she paints with silk pieces, scissors and glue. The collage comes to life under her skilled hands”. Linh was a disabled and depressed woman before working at Vun Art, a cooperative for people with disabilities. Scraps revived While working as a kindergarten teacher, she suffered a bone ailment that rendered her unable to walk. Her marriage also ended at the same time. Becoming a disabled person and unable to continue with her old job, she felt bored. Her life was almost deadlocked as she had to raise a child alone while her parents were old and frail.
