30 Years of Vietnam-Israel Diplomatic Ties Celebrated at FootWearArt Exhibition
The exhibition organised by the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam in collaboration with Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) enables the Vietnamese fashion world and audience to enjoy works of art that lie on the fine line between consumer products and fantasy produced by Kobi Levi. After graduating from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2021, Levi began crafting innovative shoes which made the wearer rethink the world around them. The symbols and concepts that appear in his works have been able to turn the unexpected into reality. He draws inspiration from everyday trips, animals, objects, and human interactions, turning them into creative motive. Levi often uses hallucinogenic dimensions and effects in shoes, from which the user lingers and questions their own feelings and its meaning. Twenty-four of his artworks represent a diverse range of his iconic creations, including the chewing-gum design worn by singer Fergie in the MV “M.I.L.F.$”. ...
